A SUNDAY AFTERNOON WEBINAR

FREE FOR MEMBERS

We've given three sessions in the last 10 days, but are still hearing from a few who couldn't make it or who didn't sign up before the session filled, or just became members and didn't have access to register.

So here we go, one last time:

Online - Sunday 19 April 2020

3:30-4:30 pm Eastern Time

Zoom is really easy to use. Sometimes, a little too easy. Zoom conferencing can be a slippery slope to instant Internet infamy:  mates appearing as surprise underwear models, kids and animals streaking through your presentation, or the sound of flushing in the background.

Used well, it also facilities remote work and play.

This session will provide a brief overview of how Zoom works, help evaluate your Zoom 'look and feel', and pass on some pro tips including some of the new safety features.

About us:

Catherine spent more than 35 years at CBC TV as a reporter, producer, shooter, video editor before retiring last fall. She began teaching mobile journalism at King's College in Halifax in January, and now leads her class via Zoom.

George is a former journalist who spent the past 25 years starting and running online companies, often with staff, clients and investors he's never met in person.
