Professional Experience
I have more than 25 years of experience as a news reporter, arts critic, editor, and media relations specialist. I offer a variety of editorial services: from feature writing to developmental editing and author coaching to publicity & promotion.
My writing has been published in all forms of traditional and digital media and I'm particularly interested in mystery (fiction), memoir (nonfiction), and true crime (creative nonfiction). I was able to indulge my interest in forensic science while working at the Vancouver Police Museum. As well, I was a TV and Film critic for more than 15 years and love a modern whodunnit, like 'Knives Out' or the 'Enola Holmes' series.
I work with a variety of clients, including independent writers, nonprofit organizations, fiction authors, children’s authors, writers of creative nonfiction, government Public Affairs branches, and publishers. I have a Certificate in Developmental Editing from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton U.
